What is the weather like in Cape Town in October?

October is Spring season in South Africa. Expect temperatures ranging from 20 – 30 degrees Celsius.

How far is the wedding venue from Cape Town?

Johannesdal is a ± 55-minute drive from Cape Town. However, it is recommended to stay in the Winelands the night of the wedding. A variety of accommodations will be recommended.

What is the dress code at the wedding?

Formal/elegant, but not black tie.  Weather permitting, much of the celebration will be outside, but the main consideration is wearing something you can tear up the dance floor with.

Will a shuttle service be available? 

Yes. If you would like to make use of the shuttle service, please let us know when you RSVP. Shuttles will make their way to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch from 22h00.

Do we need to adhere to the dress code? 

We would love you to express yourself and have fun with the guideline of our colour scheme. The dress code is formal, and ladies are not limited to floor-length dresses.

Do I need to wear comfortable shoes? 

Since half of the wedding day will be spent outdoors, we would advise ladies to wear wedges or block heels.
We also advise to bring along your dancing shoes!

Unfortunately not.

All drinks are on us. No cash required.

Is there a wedding registry?
Your presence is our gift. Thank you for traveling far and wide to share our special day with us.

Can you drink the tap water in Stellenbosch?

The municipal drinking water is safe to consume and adheres to all SANS 241 standards for drinking water.
